During the DOZ meetings for the month of August, we have as our theme, "Back to School" and have focused prayer for the children returning to school. I appoint prayer captains over our area schools that do a prayer walk or drive around their assigned school and then on each day that school is in session, prayer is made asking for God's protection on staff and students. Although the captains pray for all students, they especially pray for the students who attend our church.
